Journal Comic - Cat Call

Every episode of "Hello Kitty's Furry Tale Theater" is basically a vague retelling of some classic tale with Hello Kitty characters replacing the original cast. But what's most odd is when they diverge from fairy tales and such and delve into more contemporary pieces like "E.T." (K.T.: The Kitty Terrestrial) and "Star Wars" (Cat Wars). I'm not sure if their application really falls under "fair use" since their tellings are hardly sophisticated enough to be considered any sort of parody.

Maybe when Steven Spielberg saw these tykes he just fell in love with their horrible inept attempts at story structure the same way Liam and I did. That, or the more likely scenario that this was back before the internet and no one knew who was ripping off who. Hell, maybe "K.T." came first.
