I wish I had a really nice jacket. I feel like the more obviously expensive and fancy your coat is, the more you can get away with when it comes to the rest of your unkempt self. Not that people won't judge you for not shaving or bathing, but they'll realize you're aware of what you're doing.
Not that I don't enjoy being clean, but sometimes I'm just too busy for it. I'd appreciate the option of wrapping a "Not A Hobo; Just Eccentric" double-breasted sticker around my body.
Oh well, until then, I guess I'll just have to shower or never leave the apartment. Or accept the change from strangers without correcting them. I'll put it towards my peacoat fund.
